Why di you choose the 13th?? the fact that mothers day is the following day did you feel that was a good or bad thing???

I was really open to any saturday b/n May and october... and i really wanted to get married at Crest Hollow. (since I only had a few choices that holds over 550 people and CH seemed to be the best for me)
For some weird reason we felt like CH was having a tough time getting rid of this date.. so the guy kept emphasizing May 13th (since a lot of people don't like the # 13, that day was the only day available b/n May & July).
He had mentioned July would be more $$, so we finalized for May 13th. So no other reason.... just happened to be mothers day weekend (which i didn't realize till i started my florist hunt). I thought when I was shopping around i made a bad choice by picking the weekend of mothers day (but luckily my florist is not charging me more) - so i'm fine with it being the same weekend.
I'm glad i picked the 13, so far all my vendors seems like they're available for that date!

We purposely picked the 13th, FH proposed on the 1/13/05 13 is a lucky number in the Jewish religion...not untill about 2-3 months ago did we realized it was mothers day weekend oh well

Hey I love the 13th, FH & I started dating on Sept 13th and we got engaged at Sunrise on Aug 13th, (hence my screen name Sunrise813)lol

I was going to fm her that question, because I had an option for my son to make his communion that day, and none of the mothers did it because of Mothers day. It's just too much. Communions are a huge thing in May as well as weddings.
