I don't think so, especially if you already live together. It's becoming more and more popular these days.

We are hoping to register for our honeymoon...

I think its great...We don't have enough stuff on our registry at Bed Bath and Beyond, so this will help.

We all ready live together and have a lot of stuff. We registered at BB&B but we ran out of stuff that we need to get... So we figured lets register for the HM... We just dont know how to do it??? Who do they give the money to?

i dont think its tacky at all, in fact its very common now. I think you can set them up through travel agents. We also already lived together and had a lot of stuff, but since his parents are paying for our honeymoon, we didnt have to do that. Instead we registered for stuff at MyRegistry.com. You can register for anything through them. We put theatre tickets, restaurant gift certificates, anything.

A friend of mine did it thru Liberty Travel. They set up the trip up themselves & then people put money into it. The only complaint I had was they had a very high minimum amount to choose from. They started at $100 dollars so I would suggest a much smaller increment. I thought it was a great idea. But I've heard of ones where you can buy them 'events' like a massage or a romantic dinner for two.....i'd have liked that one better.

i don't think so at all. We're doing this because we already live together and all our appliances and home furnishings are brand new so we don't need anything. I think it's a great idea!

I don't think it's tacky. If you already are living together you have all your household items.
I have started hearing about this. I see that
it will be very helpful to the bride and groom.
