and they have HUGE bottles of Sparkling Cider (Martinelli or whatever its called) for $2.50 each! I was thinking I should go and buy them as favors and give them 1 per couple (in addition to my caramel apple favor that everyone is getting)
thats going to be very costly favors if you do that in addition to candy apples

Re: Sooo I was just at CVS
I think its over kill but if you like it go for it! I actually do not like sparkling cider.
Questions- will you be able to get enough for all your guests? Where are you going to store all of these bottles? And are ypu planning on distributing on the way out or putting on the tables?

Re: Sooo I was just at CVS
i dont think it comes to too expensive to be honest (and im definately on a tight budget) if you are doing 1 per couple. are the candy apples one per person or couple?
just make sure you figure in any wrapping costs, tags or if you plan to do anything like that

Re: Sooo I was just at CVS
We did this at my sisters wedding. We did champagne bottles, the mini ones. for each adult and then for all the kids and teens we did the big cider bottles. Not only did it let us determine that the kids didn't take liquor (we have some tricky teens that were trying to collect them lol) And let me tell you the adults were sooo jelous!!
SO after my rambling I think its a nice idea. Thats a good price, they are a three pack at costco for $7.50 so same deal!

I love the candy apple idea! I came across the idea on Martha Stewart's webiste and have been researching the cost all night. Where are you purchasing your apples from? $1.25 sounds fabulous!
