sooo p1ssed at FH right now (edit w question!)

when we first starting thinking about a wedding, he insisted on wearing no tux, he wanted a white linen suit. which was fine, when we were talking about getting married on a BEACH...
but now we're not. and my girls are wearing floor length gowns. and i assumed (stupid me) that he was on board with getting a tux....apparently NOT as he informs me today.

MY DRESS IS IVORY. he can't wear a white linen suit! he got mad at me for assuming he would wear whatever i told him to, and now he says he'll figure out what he's wearing himself and keep it to himself.....he refuses to tell me what....like i'm supposed to tell the 2 groomsmen what to wear without know what hes doing....the best man is his son...will he be a 'surprise' too?

right now we are not even talking. i'm so frustrated, i hate it when he's difficult......he hasn't planned a thing with the wedding, just keeps boycotting things. then gets mad that i keep him 'out of the loop' he doesnt like to be 'told what to do'

right know i feel like telling him to shove the tux up his a ss....

sorry for the long vent. i'm PMSing on top of it all too!!!!!!!!!!

ETA:
thanks, ladies....he went right to bed after the fight so there's no talking to him now. i am hoping he will calm down and we will be able to discuss it later.

he really had a hard time with things he's 'supposed to ' do....if he doesn't wanna do them.

i wouldn't mind black suits, but how would that look??? his dad has a tux dinner jacket he will be wearing and my dad was planning on renting a tux....

has anyone seen suits instead of tuxes with floor length gowns?

Sorry you're going through this. If it makes you feel any better, FH and I had a vicious fight about the vest/tie he's wearing.

Oh boyyy.... I think he should definitely tell u. It sounds nice for the beach but I guess not so nice when its not the beach... Sit down and talk to him without getting worked up and try to explain to him that well... U want everything to look stunning, including him in a tux! Lol good luck!!!

i'm sorry, it's not always easy.

My DH and groomsmen all had suits and my bridesmaids had long dresses and it looked great ! you don't need a tux.
