Sooo stuffing envelopes...

really not as fun as I first thought I'm not sure how many hours the ordeal lasted Fh & I, but it was toooo long... But its done... One less thing to worry about now...

PS: Dont worry if you havent done it yet and your wedding is before mine... I just wanted to get it out of the way and had all the materials to do it

Well, we had some mishaps along the way which made time run a bit long... lol Like doing about 20 of em and then remembering we wanted to write #'s on the back of the rsvp card Losing stamps and finding they were attached to envelopes sitting in another room (that wracked our brains for awhile) Just glad its over

It took me 6 hours to address and stuff envelopes (I printed them on my printer at home -- both the main envelopes and the inner envelopes). I just penciled in the invitation # on the response card on the back myself (does anyone really care if they're #1 (MOH) or #91 (FI's ex & her FI lol)?)

I am heading home tomorrow from a week away (maybe to some response cards!!! cross your fingers!) and have about 4 more to do. I am so glad that's DONE!!!

To those of you with people to help, I am so, so jealous!

you can def see my #'s on the back... did them in pen... no pencil in this house lol but they are numbered in alphabetical order... i dont care what people may think or assume

Thats what we are starting when we get home from FL. I can hardly wait, I am sure it will be a tedious task.

Hey girl I hope you're drinking a nice glass of wine while envelope stuffing!

I bet you'll feel so accomplished though when it's all done.

Re: Sooo stuffing envelopes...

We did an ensembly line thing. He stuffed the pocket fold & the actually invite. I added the cushion for the broach and sealed & stamped. Doing 150 invites does take sometime, but yes we did it. We actually got it done while watching a movie so it wasnt so bad!

Better to get it done then wait. Another thing checked off. YAY

yes, assembly line def woulda been clutch in this situation... i would say 'well i know for next time' but even if there was a next time, i'd try to convince someone else to do it

Re: Sooo stuffing envelopes...

Yay! You must be glad its done! Eric helped me when we stuffed ours and it went pretty quickly. The only problem we had was we forgot to put a stamp on one of the response envelopes so I had to go through all of them to find out which one it was. Thank god we hadnt seeled them!

Re: Sooo stuffing envelopes...

I totally give you credit for including FH. Mine will be no where near our invites...one because he wants no part of it, and two because I will get it done faster, and correctly LOL.

Re: Sooo stuffing envelopes...

It's next on my list after next weekend - glad you survived! I think FH and I are gonna need a bottle of wine - then we'll see who gets the invites at the beginning of the bottle and who gets the invites at the end! LOL

Re: Sooo stuffing envelopes...

Good job, Gina!!!!! I like getting things done too, except right now, I'm having a problem knowing where to put the finished projects!!!! I volunteered to hand address Donna's Wedding Invitations. She's printing them herself. Mary MOB
