We decided on our officiant today! We really met with some very wonderful people in the process, and I would give all of them positive reviews.
However, today we met with Reverend David James. And there was just something about him that was so very special. He was very professional, organized, and accomodating- which was great. But there was just that something.
Lately, I've been struggling a lot with the fact that none of my Grandparents are alive to see me get married. I don't know why all of a sudden- maybe it's because two of their birthdays would've been yesterday & Thursday. I'm not really sure though; I've been praying for a sign from them that I would know that they will be with me on my wedding day. And Rev. David just said somethings that made me feel like he was my sign. It's a bit confusing and convoluted, so I'm not going to get into it, but there was one thing he said that was just too freaky to be a coincidence, IMO.
He just really seemed like an amazing man, and Eric & I are SO excited that we are going to have him as our officiant.
