So you would think ordering my gown today would be one of the best things ever for a bride. Well at least I thought it would. I found the gown I wanted in a magazine, but my sister (MOH) demanded that I order the gown through her mother in laws friend bc then we would only have to pay the manuf price. I agreed and asked her to take care of it bc I do not know the woman. So she did and she calls me to tell me the price of the gown and the FG dresses...GLITCH.... I NEVER PICKED OUT A FG dress... My MOH took it upon herself to pick out my FG dresses. I flipped. She says she showed them to me and I thought they were cute. Yes cute as in the picture but not for my FGs... She ordered Peach FG dresses... PEACH!!!! am i crazy? I just thought this was supposed to be my decision!!!! Sorry so long! I just needed to vent! Esp now that she hung up on me. She is mad at me !!! I have no idea what to do now.

I would tell her that you are not paying for those FG dresses especially since you did not what you wanted. Anyone can say something is cute. Tell her your sorry, but that was not what you had agreed upon with her. She was only supposed to order your gown and nothing else.

I would just tell her you appreciate her trying to help but you havent decided on the dress or the colors and would like to cancel that part of the order.. try to get the # to call yourself if she has a problem with it.

i would have flipped a shiiiiit. who does that?! and she hung up on you?!!! i mean, i understand that she was trying to be helpful, and i'm sure she didn't do it to upset you or anything... but i would tell her that you're not paying for the flower girl dresses. if she just ordered them there is a good chance she can cancel the order.

thanks for listening girls... i have calmed down a bit and I am just going to try to find the number and call them myself to cancel the order. It's very frustrating but I'm not giving in to her!

Yes i would be VERY mad!!!!! I would call her up and tell her although you appreciate her help you would prefer to pick out your own FG dresses. Just say that was not the color i was even thinking of!!!!

WRONG on so many different levels. PEACH? Really?!?! You tell her, nicely and calmly, this is your wedding and it's TOTALLY inappropriate for her to make IMPORTANT decisions about YOUR wedding. Key Word here is YOURS. It's not hers.
