Soooo Bummed-Call Me Debby Downer

To start I'm not in the best of moods on Mondays. At 9:30 this morning I get a text from one of my best friends (she's a BM). All it says is 'He has cold feet, not getting married in February.'

She is engaged to FH's best friend. They are both in our bridal party. I literally got sick to my stomach. I feel sooo bad. I spoke to her and she seems ok. They are going to 'stay together' but just not get married/set a date. She seems ok but I can't help but feel just awful for them.

Just needed to vent ladies. Thanks for reading

I'm so sorry to hear that! Have they put money down on things they may lose?? That's good that they are going to stay together at least..maybe it's just not their time yet. All yo ucan do is be there for her and offer support! Which I am sure you are doing!

So sorry to hear that, but look at it on the other hand, at least they were adult enough not to go through with it. You know I truly believe, things happen for a reason and this might be the best thing for them in the long run.
If it works out and I hope it does, there will be no doubts when they are both 100% ready

Aww Chrissy you're so sweet. I was actually thinking of leaving work this morning to be with her but she really wants some alone time right now.

She was having a destination wedding in Costa Rica. She has the dress ordered and the hotel/location booked. The STD's were set to go out this week. I am thinking that is what probably forced her fiance to speak-up.

OMG I can only IMAGINE how you felt. My best freind is like my little sister and I get so upset anytime anything bad happens to her. The only think you can do is be there for her. I'm sorry ur down hunny and I know now it is going be tough planing ur happiness while ur best freind is feeling blue....but since they are staying together and still do plan to get maried maybe its not so bad. i know this didn't help much but try to smile...

Oh Brit... I am so sorry for your BF.. that's such an awful thing to have happened.. but maybe it's for the best and since they aren't getting married, maybe she will eventually find that he's not the one for her..

The best thing to do is be there for her.. maybe have a girls night out and go for sundaes and have comfort food!!

Everything has ways of working themselves out.. I hope it's for the better for your friend..

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's great that she is handling it so well, but be prepared in case she has a delayed reaction.

How sad. I am sorry to hear the news about your BF. However it is most likely for the best. I was the one w/the cold feet for the longest time. I just wasn't ready to recommit myself to a marriage. We stayed together and remained engaged but learned to take our time. We have changed our date before, but in the end it all worked out. It is possible that the two of them just need some more time. It is wise that they wait and make sure that this is the right thing for them. Most likely it will be and this will be the smartest thing they ever did together.

I feel your pain!! My best friend (one of my bm's) just broke up with her bf because he doesn't know if he ever wants to get married!! I feel so horrible for her!!
