Soooo mad.......my FMIL is an a**hole!!

So here I am 2 weeks after the rsvp date and we're still missing a few people, mainly my FMIL's 'friends from work' that she insisted on inviting. FH just called me and told me we got 6 rsvp's today. Well guess what, turns out that FMIL called her guests and told them 'its ok to bring a guest even if they invite didnt say _____ and guest'. So now we're getting Yes RSVP's for additional people. I'm so over her, now shes totally taking advantage of FH, me, and my family. I am never speaking to her again after the wedding....UGH!!!!!

WOW. I assume she is not paying for these extra guests????? Can FH tell her that it wasn't in the budget and it's a problem???

hot! tell fmil she has to fork over money for the guests plates. lol

I would handle this gracefully given that your fmil will be apart of your life forever.
Just tell her nicely that you have a set budget and is trying hard to stick to that. if she feels it's absolutely necessary that additional guests are added to the rsvp, if she could front the fee for them seeing that you don't have the money.
let's see how important it really is for them to be there when she finds out she's in charge of paying for them.
