I had the longest day, or should I say longest week ever. Anyone else feel that way over a 3 day work week?! My kids were off the walls and our math coach for our school even said to us 'I really wonder why you guys don't have gray hairs yet.' So for tonight, I'll be cooking and continuing tomorrow morning! And my FILs are in for the holiday, which I don't mind so much. I like them lol.
But i'm soooo happy it's a 4 day weekend though!! I hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving!

I love hearing other peoples' stories about teaching, it's always so amusing. Danielle, I'm glad your observation went well! I have mine on Dec 9 with my assistant principal. And Colleen, i'm jealous you had two kids!!!

Haha that was only one class. Since I'm special ed. none of my classes are bigger than 12 kids, so my biggest class is 11. And with these kids- trust me- 11 is enough

my kids were crazy too. i made them do a thanksgiving packet.....it had word searches, a connect the dots, and lots of coloring.....they are 2nd grade, so it wasn't hard to entertain them.

My kids were sooo off the wall too! Then I had a parent come in the last hour to celebrate a birthday - some notice would have helped...the kids were crazy
So glad to have this time off!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Oh I know! I teach CTT in the city and I have 10 special ed kids, and 13 regular ed kids. I have a co-teacher but it's like having 23 special ed kids cuz they are all really low functioning.
