Soooo tired of....

People thinking this is everyone's wedding but mine. In the past week I've had people ask me if they were being invited with a guest and if not why, the BM tell me I shouldn't have gone to pick out tuxes with my FH and he doesn't like what I picked and my FH never takes a stand on things with his family!!! UGH

Trust me I completely understand. Weddings aren't easy to plan at all. Dealing with family drama, rude comments, etc. is not easy.

the closer we get, the worse it gets.

my mom is great though. shes always like 'I'm so excited, yes thats a great idea, oh sure whatever you want, can i please have a table for me & your aunts special' (as if we werent going to give her one!

I can relate. I'm really tired of people giving their 2 cents on things. We added some extra things to our reception, like the photo booth, and my mom has done nothing but criticize everything. I really don't care what she thinks, but it's annoying because I'm constantly telling her everyone will love it and to stop telling me her opinion of things when I didn't ask her.

I must say I miss wedding planning, but I DEF don't miss all the drama and people butting in!!! Good luck!

My mother and the rest of my family are really the only supportive ones. I called my fmil last night to talk about some stuff and the answer I got was, Is this all you called me to talk about? I'm like ummmm yes.. she just said oh well than call me back tomorrow im watching tv right now... UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

That's so nice. Wish my mom was like this! She keeps forgetting that she got married and planned her wedding over 30 YEARS AGO... It my wedding now... Plus the last wedding she went to was over 10 years ago so she is still stuck on me wearing gloves and the entire bridal party sitting 'on display' with us.

I have to say, I've been really lucky while planning. Everyone has been great about stuff. Even my FILs who I thought would have an opinion on everything.

The plus one thing is ridiculous. ESPECIALLY since FH'S fmaily are calling his mother directly and she is saying YES. My mother and I are so pissed. FH finally got on the phone with her this weekend and laid into her about being so liberal with other people's money.

Her rationale: so many people are saying no that she can invite more people. He was like listen, just because you invite 50 people and half say no doesn't mean you invite an additional 25! I was fuming!
