sooooo scared

Its a really long story I will try to make it short
I live in a co-op which is owned by fh grandmother
we pay really cheap rent.now we all decided to move to N.C. but fh and I wanted to stay here till after the wedding but now h grandmother needs to sell the co-op for the money to move down there
so we need to move out mind you we have 2kids and rent on LI is insane so im really stressed right now if we move into another apt. here we will have to come up with at least $4,000 just to move in for the 1st mnth and i cant find anything cheaper than $1300 a mnth for a 2B/R

Have you looked at Craigslist.com? There might be listings on there. Also, I read about another LIW bride that found her place that was listed in a Catholic Newspaper???? Anyways, the rent was cheap and the place was great! Those are two options for you!

there are many places on LI for under 1300/month.... Another place you can look besides Craig's list is to call up university housing offices and ask for off campus housing listings.... they not only have studios, but frequently also 2 bedroom apts and cottages for visitng faculty who are looking for a place...
