I started to send my invte to my out of towners and I already got a returned one with a postage of 16 cents more...Are you lidding me when I went they told me 79 but to be safe I even put 84 cents. Now it say 16 more how can a post office be so off......THis is not even the worst the invtes is all ruined the envevelpoe is riped and the back had tape on it....I dno what to do I really hope they all dnt come back....

This whole wedding thing has opened my eyes to the USPS....some places say one thing, some say another. I went in RI and mailed mine yesterday (asked them to hand cancel) and it cost $1 per invite (because they were large square pocketfolds) - but I already had one friend receive hers so I guess I am happy about that.

I think what she meant by an isolated envelope was that she hopes that it only happened to that one envelope and not to all the others. Like she hopes it only happened in that one case. Correct me if I'm wrong..

This makes me nervous... I have pocketfolds from Tessa, so the weight of mine are the probably the same as yours -
I went to 3 different post offices, and they all told me mine will cost 76, and then with the increase on May 11th, it will only be a few cents more. So I think two 42's will suffice...
I'll be pissed if they're wrong.

That happened to me also..but with only one invite..Don't ask me how ...but all the rest made it to their destinations
