So who watched it last night? What are your reactions to the episode...I didnt think it was as eventful as last episode but I still thought it was good.
I cannot believe that Carmela and the Principal had sex....
Who thinks she was using the Principal to get what she wanted, even if she didnt realize she was using him? I totally thought she was using him, but I didnt think she realized she did. I love how she told him to watch his back as she was walking out of his bedroom....

I saw it. It was ok. Nothing too exciting. I don't think she was using the Principal. I think she finally found passion and that was what it was about. I think she talked about AJ's grades with him b/c it was a common ground they shared.
It should get interesting now with Steve Bushemi back on the job!

It was just wierd how she chose to talk about AJ while they were in bed, or after everytime they had sex....You dont think that was wierd?

I guess that was wierd. I never thought of it that way. I just didn't feel it as a 'using' thing. I could be wrong. Maybe I was as blind as her and didn't see it. I think she really liked him. She was so upset at the end. I felt so bad for her.

She was totally using him but probably without realizing it. That she actually blamed Tony for him not wanting to be with her tells me that she's not all that different from Tony at all, at least to an extent...she's used to having a certain power over people and she will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Remember when she bullied that woman into writing a letter for Meadow to go to Georgtown? She doesn't care or realize that AJ's as dumb as a rock, as long as she can get him into college.
I can't believe she had sex though!

I totally agree! I also think she was finally experiencing life as a 'civilian', outside the cougine (sp?) culture, and then when it (the civilian life) rejected her, she resorted back to her mafia culture with the 'watch your back' comment. It was a shame, because she seemed very happy and I thought she could maybe move beyond Tony's world. But now I think she will resort back to the Rosalie Aprile-type existence.

It will get better towards the end of the season...right now they are building characters and stories.
I really could not believe that she had sex with him. I felt So bad for Rosalie when she was talking about Jackie....Carmella knows what happen to jackie right?

Good episode... not as good as last week's. Steve Buscemi's sudden attack on the Korean laundry owner seemed weird to me. Out of character or something. And I didn't think that Carmela was deliberately 'using' the principal... I think she's just used to getting her way and she's really upfront about what she wants. Remember when she wanted that woman to write a college recommendation letter for Meadow and wouldn't leave her alone until she did it?

I thought the principal was a bit strange....and i wish she was doing it w/ furio (sp?)....i think she talked about AJ a bit too much while in bed, but i don't think she was using him, just consumed w/ her son and his passing and getting into college. i am glad that episode came and went---i don't like the principal. MY FH said the priest was jealous b/c he wants Carmela (?)
Last weeks episode was the best so far this season.

I got a good chuckle out of it when I wrote it. It was just one of those things that was soooo bad.. I could not resist.

I thought it was one of the worst episodes EVER!!!! Carmela just makes me sick...All the sudden she thinks she's educated and can read? and the top she put on to see him was gross..with her italian gold hanging down her cleavage... I also agree that the whole attack of the Korean guy was way out there..absolutely no reason. They should have killed Christopher last week anyway. All the sudden the show is afraid to kill a main character. What's that about?
