lolol... Me too I was like is it really supposed to end or did something happen to the network???

oh no!! We don't have HBO so I had to have my mom tivo it so we could watch it later, I won't know how it ends until tomorrow!!!

I thought that was so horrible! There was so much that they could have done with the ending. I'm so mad!!!!!!!!!

Chase wanted you people to use your brains and figure it out for yourselves. It's not that hard, but he gave the average American more credit than they deserved.
OK..... here's what happened at the end in the diner, if you couldn't figure it out yourself. The guy in the diner with the ballcap, (that they kept showing) and the guy who went into the restroom (both of whom were probably related to Phil) just before the end, killed Tony, Carm, and AJ, just as Meadow came running in the diner to witness it. The show went blank (same as in Donnie Brasco when Al Pacino's character got whacked). Chase left it to your imagination, because he didn't want to spell it out for you letter by letter. It was implied. The guy goes into the bathroom and comes out firing away (remember Pacino in the first Godfather???) My take is, it was a tribute to Pacino in his mob movies. Not sure why, but seems logical. If Meadow could have parked the car the first try, she would have been in the diner and been killed also. Why else would they make such a big deal about her not being able to parallel park??? Didn't you see the look on her face as she ran into the diner??? She just witnessed her family getting murdered. Was a very disappointing ending, but............ such is life.
The Sopranos have died. R.I.P.
