Thanks!! Called up.. Actually contacted Nassau Community College since it's literally right behind me in Garden City. Spoke a really helpful woman and gave her my situtation..
Her advice: Skip the College portion on your application, it's not worth it. Just stick with your High School transcripts.
BIG load off my shoulders. But I have to take placement exams. Hrm. I suk at exams. Any books I can look over for that?

The Nassau placement exams? Stony Brook has practice exams online for our tests, but the tests are specific to SB. Definitely ask them if you can do practice problems, and ask if you can bring a calculator--most of our students are unprepared when they find out you can't use one! Watch out when you transfer out of Nassau--I know here it would be a felony to omit the college part of your record from the application...Good luck! I'm sure you will do well!

Well basically she drilled me on making SURE i had zero credits. Then she said because it was only one year and it really was zero credits (which she didn't believe at first) then it would make no difference. Since I will be starting from stratch anyway and it's been over 12 since the LAST semester I took a class to the first semester Im trying to take one.
We'll see. I am now nervous again about that. Hrm.

But I thought that was from the college in Texas, but then you got credits in NY through the school now affiliated with St. John's? Those are actually the credits I was referring to. But I think I was confused so never mind me! Best to check with the Admissions Office of whatever 4-year school you would be interested in applying to.

whew.. Yeah there's that too.. She made sure this school with zero credits was out of state.
You're referring to my AIC (associates in claims) Those other credits I ALWAYS forget to consider as college credits. It was so very closely related to work. I was told St. John's accepts them since they bought the College of Insurance. It was a four hour course on Tort Law for Claims / Legal Liability Claim Practices. Overall I took four total courses over a two year span (Once a semester) at Hofstra University. Locked up in a basement classroom for 3 hours a week once a week, until the final class which was four hours a week once a week.
Brutal, I tell ya. I passed all four exams and gained my Associates back in December 2002. I guess I'll just include that stuff elsewhere on the application.
