Guess what? I bet that if your friend went down there and wanted her money back they would give it to her. All she has to do is go in and make a big fuss. Speak loudly, ask for the manager. 'Where is the paperwork that says I can't get a refund?' 'I didn't sign any paperwork and I don't want your gowns. I want my money back now or you will def be hearing from my lawyer.'
Here's the thing- people don't like hassles. When someone is annoying what do you want to do? GET RID OF THEM! Who wants to deal with an annoying person? If she goes down there every day and makes a fuss they will give her her money back just to get rid of her. They totally took advantage of your friend. She needs to speak up! Good luck!![]()

I agree... the worst thing for business for these stores is a scene. She should check to see if they have a sign posted about a refund policy as well though, just so she knows what argument she is getting herself into.

Well, she doesn't seem to want to get her $ back YET but she's upset that now the cost of the dress is going up. Do you think it shoudl be $250 to take off spaghetti straps? Seems extreme to me.
