Sorry Girls Been MIA

Hi Girls,


Sorry i have been MIA but as many of you know my grandmother is very ill and has been given only a short time to live, last week she was moved into hospice so sadly the end is near. The other day when i was there she asked me to please get married before she dies so she can see at least one grandchild get married so as of next week i will be a married lady!

FH and i will be getting married town hall style with my grandma present and then have our big party and church wedding still on 11/11/11

Completely have mixed feelings about this but in my heart i know its the right things.

I miss you girls! I hope to be back soon to planning the big party!

I'm so sorry about your grandmother but I think what you are doing is wonderful so that she can see her granddaughter get married. I'm sure it will make her passing easier for her.

The fact that you are able to do this for your grandmother is amazing!! I'm welling up with tears reading this as I got engaged a month after my grandmother passsed...so even though they won't physically be there with us, they will most definitely be with us on our special day

This is very sweet of you I'm so sorry you are going through this right now. It's so hard to be in the middle of such a special time in your life and have something like this occuring. I just lost my grandpa and FH's grandma isn't doing well. We were just told they don't know if she'll make it to the wedding.

ITA!!!

I'm so sorry for the situation you are in - but you did the right thing!! The only reason I am having a Hindu wedding in two weeks is because Fh's grandma wants to see him get married also. While we aren't signing papers, to her, it will be good enough. I completely understand and am sending hugs and prayers your way for you and your family to get through this time. And congrats!
