Sorry I keep posting, but I have alot to rant about!
You don't have to read this if you don't want to, but since we are such a closeknit family on here, I know you girls will support me !
I'm a teacher. I teach 6,7,8 art, help the other art teacher with the younger grades, and to make my job full time, I am the computer tech aide (which they DO not need)
Now. the Tech teacher is also the attendence/sub person and she is the biggest you know what. She calls me an 'aide' because I have more than one job. Which pisses me off in the first place. When I help her with her classes, do you knwo what she does?!
She sits on HER computer the WHOLE class on....

effin FACEBOOK!!!!! I totally catch her ALL THE TIME!!!! One time we had 1st grade and the kids were having trouble getting onto the internet, so she's like oh she'll help you (meaning me) *** you are the teacher, DO SOMETHING! So she calls me over to help her with something on her computer and I'm thinking it's how to download something or write an email. no.
she wanted to know how to see all of the things she 'liked' on facebook.
REALLY!?!?!?!?!?!!
So you are getting an idea of how she is. Moving on.
When the sub is out, and when she can't find anyone else to cover for whoever needs to sub, I become next in line. I don't mind subbing, I love it and its great experience, but the wayyyyyy she says it to me is ridiculous like I'm lower than anything in the world. She'd be like 'Yeah, you have to sub today' Not 'Do you mind covering for this person, I couldn't find anyone'
ITS THE WAY YO SAY THINGS PEOPLE!
Ok...so for 5 monday mornings, I'm observing at another school from 8-11:20. I worked with my college so I could be back in time for 6th grade which I have at 12:30.
She gets mad, becuase I'm missing 2 tech classes. SHE DOESNT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING, the kids literally have headphones and are mesmorised by the computers, its the most boring thing in the world.
Tuesday I had to help with the 5th grade retreat, which is all day in school. I do them every year and I love doing them, and she sees me in the morning and she's like WHERE ARE YOU GOING WHY ARE YOU WEARING JEANS. I'm like woah. I say very nicely, Oh, (principal) didn't tell you? I'm doing the 5th grade retreat.
SHE ROLLS HER DAMN EYES and WALKS AWAY throwing her hands int he air!!!
Wednesday the pre-k teacher is out and our sub hurt her back so she's out for 2 weeks. The sub texts me and told me that she told the Tech teacher that she was not coming in for the rest of the week. Remember, this is Wednesday. I usually don't have tech classes on this day, so I got away with hearing what she had to say.
Thursday. Ohhhhhhh, Thursday.
The librarian, library aide, the sub AND the other art teacher are out. Guess who had to cover for her own classes PLUS those classes?!
She comes into my classroom with a piece of aper and was like 'I couldn't find anyone, I guess I'm not seeing YOU again today' and throws it at me.
I go, this means I have no lunch today, and my scedule conflicts last period bc I have 8th grade when there is a library class.
you know what she says?
'Maybe you can switch around the classes, and eat during one of them.'
No.
THEN she says 'the 3rd grade teacher is taking a day off Monday and the sub is out so I'll have to pull you'
I go 'honestly, this is n't my job, you are in charge of subs, and theres like 6 of them.
she goes 'well I know they arent gonna wanna come in for one day, and its gonna be hard to find someone'
I said, (name) its THURSDAY you have until MONDAY MORNING to hear from someone.
she rolled her eyes
I said I can't do it Monday bc I have to observe.
She goes 'Well can't you move that to another day?'
UHHHMMMMMMMMMMMM no.
how annoying!!!!!!!! I need a drink.
