It's in Bayside, not LI, but Pappazzio's on Bell Blvd is a really cozy romantic restaurant. They accept reservations on regular days so V-day I am sure they are a must. The food is outstanding!

Not in LI, but Jenn, have you been to that Italian restaurant in Astoria, on 31st Street and Ditmars, next to Pizza Palace? It's e very popular place.

The Country House in Stony Brook!!! The menu is AMAZING and the amibiance is so romantic...we go there for EVERY OCCASION!!!
However, I wouldn't be surprised if they were already booked solid, but it's worth a try...we'll probably be there!

Kathy - I would say the Country House is totally booked by now. I know by Sept each year they are booked for Christmas Eve.
Jenn, I am in suffolk and you are probably looking for places closer to you so I cant help...sorry.

I just had my best friends baby shower at the Davenport Printing Press in Mineola and the place was very nice & romantic. Food and service were excellent. I don't know for sure if they are doing a V-day dinner, but call them and ask. I think you would really like it there.

Capriccio in Jericho does a nice Valentines Day George Martin in Rockville Cenre Millies Place in Manhasset (I know you probably want nassau recommendations! )
