but did anyone have soreness 'down there' while preggo? I've been having it for a couple days, and today I was walking through the mall and got a couple of really quick, stabbing pains...???

Not that you want to go into detail, lol, but when you say 'down there', where exactly do you mean? I get sharp pains where the bone is, nothing anymore below that... or up more by my pelvis...

now here is tmi... for the last I would say 6-8 weeks of my pregnancy I would get really sharp stabbing pains down there that would make me stop in my tracks and squeeze my legs together. The sonogram tech informed me at my last sonogram that Emma's hand was next to her face and the pains I was feeling were probably little punches and jabs from her when she moved around.

That's EXACTLY what was happening to me at the mall the other day! It totally stopped me in my tracks and I wanted to drop to the floor. Glad to hear it's at least somewhat normal!

I get them too. It feels like the baby is actually punching me and it makes me stop in my tracks when it happens.

Re: Sorry if TMI...
My SIL is pregnant (only 19 weeks) with her second child and she told me that she gets sharp pains down there and her doctor told her its the pelvic area 'spreading open' and widening for you to give birth. She had the pains later on in her pregnancy with her first child, but this time it started around 15 weeks. She has read about it in some of her baby books also.
Sorry my answer isn't too technical, none of its first hand
