Anyone work in this field? I am considering going for my advanced certificate in this. Need some guidance! Would greatly appreciate any information - I have a few questions!
Thanks ladies! I want to start in the Fall at Queens college. I am a certified childhood/special ed teacher and would love to have training with ABA so I could work at a Special Ed. agency part time after school hours? Is it worth the $$ and will it pay off? What do you think? are there a lot of job opportunities with ABA? It seems like I am making a wise choice but I dont have anyone I can talk to about it!
I go to Post and get full tuition reimbursement....
If you are planning on working in special ed with people with severe developmental disabilities, especially autism, then yes, it is definitely worth the money because sooner or later places are ONLY going to want BCBA's....
Liza I just found out I cant get into the program at Queens until next Fall b/c there is no more space. Im so upset! I just cant fathom spending that much money at Post ! How do I get tuition reimbursment? lol UGH! IM sad right now!
