Sorry to barge in.....

My girlfriend is getting married and was quoted a HIGH price for RH. I was wondering what prices people are getting quoted for fall weddings (Oct) and which Reception Halls. Thanks!

No sure what she is considering high -- but Nov. 1 is when a lot of halls drop their rates. We originally wanted October and when we found out that some halls drop their prices we decided to wait a few more weeks.

depends on the hall? we can most likely give you specifics if we know the hall

Flowerfields which I know is usually high. They quoted her $180 (not including tax, gratuities, extras, etc) for a Friday night wedding. I think that is insane (IMO) because she is having like 280 people. Crazy! Thanks girls for helping her, I know she would appreciate it.

it depends, for some rh's november is very busy for them...for example in the summer places on the water are more money but less in the fall/winter and alot of places that are nowhere near water they have a peak season in november so their prices are still high

I sent you an FM but $180 is right for Flowerfields.

The old rule of rates dropping after the summer is out now -- September and Oct. have become extremely busy so rates are starting to go down until Nov. and that is not every hall either.
