the yellow one looks too casual and the pink one looks too bridesmaid-like.

I would rule out all but the black. You said formal evening right? The black one is perfect for that. The others that you posted seem more garden, summer wedding. -( meaning informal)

Plus the black is great to use again and again. Can you use the dress for both?

Actually that one is Navy and you can't see the back, but the halter tie drapes down really pretty. I like that one, too....thanks all! Keep it coming!

I like the black one and the flower one. The yellow I think may be too casual and the pink too fancy. The second pink could work, but I would try to find out what the BP is wearing first and make sure it is not too much like a bridemaid dress.

Oh Navy is even better! Perfect color for warm weather w/out sacrificing elegance!!! - I love it!

Since you said its in the evening I would go with the black or the beige silk with the pink (the last one posted). I really like that one and I think its perfect for the evening, pretty color and since it will be hot.

OK! Yellow is out!

The blue floral one is silk satin; it's really pretty...

I would say the Navy one. It's an evening and formal so in my opinion the darker the color the better and you can dress it up with a cute purse and jewelry

Evening formal wedding I would wear a long dress or a 3/4 length.......JMO

i like the beige and pink one - and the all pink one .. i think the yellow and blue is too informal - and the blue one i dont think looks that dressy either

Attending two formal evening weddings out of state, of which one of them DH is in the BP. Can you tell me if you'd rule out any of these....too casual? Maybe too bridesmaidy? It will be fairly hot at both. Thanks!

Okay Lana......From your first post...I think the middle ones are to casual. So the top navy one, and the poofy Carrie Bradshaw one are my faves!!

You can never go wrong with the navy halter, its not too much, definitely not underdressed.

The Carrie Bradshaw one is dressy enough but still lots of fun!!!!

You will look beautiful whatever you choose....YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
