Highly recommend Get in Tune DJ. The owner is Glenn and they are in Centereach.
Definitely check out Get In Tune Productions. Glenn, the owner, is a doll! He was the salvation of my FBIL's wedding and we've booked him for our April 2003 wedding.
Spin around sound, I'm using their video service also. They advertise on this site & I've never heard anything bad. The owner is Tom, he's really sweet.

I booked Body Rock in Carle Place. They did my friend's wedding and did a fabulous job. I also heard good things about Spin Around Sound and Invitation to Dance.
I just posted to someone else about michael at music by michael. I met wth 4 other DJ's, many of the above mentioned, and they were all good and professional, but I just didn't click with them, or the person who we spoke to wasn't personally available for our date. I am SO glad I stumbled on him, from the second we walked into his office I knew everything was going to be ok! Get in Tune is definetly more reasonable as far as price than a few mentioned, plus hes such a sweetie!
I recommend Body Rock as well. I went to a few weddings with them and they got everyone up dancing and they didn't want to sit back down. I'm in a wedding on Saturday (8/10) at Fox Hollow and they will also be the DJ there. I hope they are great once again!
I used Satisfaction Guarnteed in New Hyde Park for my engagement party, The were great, I worked with Jack the owner and he put on a great evening of all types of music. Try them out. good luck
I used Spin around Sound and they were great...I had an afternoon wedding and most everyone danced!!
Another for Spin Around Sound...my aunt/uncle used them last year for their wedding and they were great.
Dance Jock is my DJ. I also liked LI Sound. Both were not cheesy, and reasonably priced.
Another spin around sound bride here!! They were so great!! Tom even played a almost missed song AFTER the Maitre d turned the lights on!~ He knew we HAD to hear it!! They also did a friends wedding last year & were great then too!!
Marcellabella, we booked the pros for our wedding,but we are starting to have second thoughts from things we have heard and how the sales rep treated us after we gave our deposit. we really liked the dj we saw at the show-bob fino. have you ever had him and can you tell me more about your experience and who you used. thanks
