i don't think you need one. unless you're really uneasy about strangers seeing your photos?

in case you didnt know...guests do need to sign-in or join first before they can upload pics.

You can view without logging in or sharing. And no, there's no charge.......it's one of the FEW wedding things that are free

I thought so to till I created an account and found out otherwise. I've since created a traditional account with an email login and am giving my guests the password.
