I have a kind of personal question...but I am trying to figure something out. I wanted to know how much spending $$ everyone is bringing with them on their honeymoons? We are going away for 10 days to anguilla. If you feel too funny posting it....please feel free to FM me. Thanks so much....

Re: Sort of Personal Question about $$$$
We're taking about $1000 total...About $300 in cash and the rest in travelers checks.
We're going to Barbados, and everything is apparently pretty expensive there (according to trip advisor). Our hotel is not all inclusive, and although we did pay extra to have breakfast included, we are going to have to eat lunch and dinner out every day (which we're ok with...we just need a lot of $$ to cover it.)

Re: Sort of Personal Question about $$$$
Probably bring about $600 - $800 for incidentals... I figure we will be charging things to our room and on our credit card - but we will need cash for cab rides, tips, etc...

Re: Sort of Personal Question about $$$$
We're going to a Sandals resort and don't need cash on hand - we'll bring one credit card and prob about $200 cash/traveler's checks to use when we go into town to go shopping.

Re: Sort of Personal Question about $$$$
We are bringing $1200 ($600each). For our 11 day trip to Hawaii. Of course between food and tours we will wind up spending alot more, but that is what credit cards are for.
If anything, get travelers checks. I don't like to have to much cash on me, it is kind of dangerous.
It really depends on how much food and drinks are. Also will you have a rent a car (gas). How many tours do you plan to go on.
Always keep alot of singles with you, for tips!!

Re: Sort of Personal Question about $$$$
Debit/Credit card most likely because I don't like taking cash with me but just in case $300 because we both don't drink and we have everything all inclusive. The cash is to pay for the activities.

Re: Sort of Personal Question about $$$$
We're taking a 14 day cruise and then spending an additional 3 days in Rome. I would venture to say close to $2000 and a CC.

Re: Sort of Personal Question about $$$$
I'm going to Hawaii for two weeks. Probably won't bring a lot of cash and just use our credit or debit card. I don't like to carry a lot of cash.

Re: Sort of Personal Question about $$$$
We spent about $1,000 for 12 days all inclusive (not inc our cruise bar bill) We spent it on watersports, shopping, eating outside the resort/boat, drinking outside the resort/boat and taxis.
