I'm finalizing everything for my invitations today and trying to figure out if a May 6 reply date sounds good for my June 4 wedding (4 weeks). My caterer needs the final head count 10 days before. I don't see why 4 weeks wouldn't be fine, but I want to make sure. Any reason to bump it up to 5 or 6?

Are you confident that all of your guests will send the RSVPs back on time? I'm setting the date a lil earlier so I have time to make phone calls and chase down people that I never heard from.

Thats what we're doing. 4 weeks should be enough time to track down the people that forget to send an RSVP.
