Sort of Wedding Related: Blue Nile?

FH wants to get a bigger diamond for my center stone, but I LOVE my setting, so I'm not willing to get a whole new ring... does anyone have any experience with Blue Nile? We're looking to get a loose diamond from them and have it set in my setting by a REAL jeweler

Any suggestions?

my engagement ring is from Blue Nile. They are very reasonable with their prices. When FH went looking at engagement rings he went to a bunch of stores and what he found is a lot of the stones found in stores aren't the best stone you can get . While the size and color are okay a lot of times on the GIA scale they are not great in the category of clarity. They fedex you the package and actually FH had it held at fedex so he could pick it up without me knowing and it was a great experience. It comes with an appraisal as well.

Yes my engagement ring and my wedding band is from blue nile. The stone is absolutely gorgeous. And I love the setting. The prices are great, and what I love is you can do a diamond search and pick out exactly what color, cut size, even down to the symmetry and fluorescence of the diamond and it will come up with all their results. It shows you the exact measurements of the diamond, and you can even view the diamond grading report right there online before you even buy it. They also have a 30 day no questions ask returned policy if you aren't satisfied with it.

The only prob I had as you know is with my wedding band. It is a little imperfect and if you know the story I sent it back to be resized and told them about the issue. Anyway they just resized it and didn't look at it. So I called custumer service and the man apologize profusely bc they have a lot of seasonal employees. Anyway they are paying for me to ship it back overnight, they are going to look at the issue see how they can repair and he said if its something they can't quite figure out they will call me first and see what else to do before they ship it back out. I am very pleased with customer service right now
