Sort-of WR - Need plus size outfit for wedding

Ok, I am the ultimate T-shirt & jeans girl & I am also NOT a fan of dresses mostly b/c I need a plus size. What can I wear to a Sat. evening wedding & re-wear (gotta save $$) to a Sun day wedding both this summer? I'm willing to try looking for a dress and of course am open to alternatives.

I bought my gown for my daughters wedding in Catherines, Patchogue. I'm also a plus size and being plus, its very difficult to find something that make you feel wonderful.

They have beautiful dresses/gowns and at the most reasonable prices. My gown was orginally $290 and the final reduced price was $30.
Its the most perfect mother of the bride gown.

You could also check out Estalles in Farmingdale. However, I was most impressed at Catherines.

I would look for a great pants suit (maybe you already have one). Suits can work wonders for all kinds of events...For example, I have a great, tailored slimming black suit that I have worn to client visits at work, to showers to communion parties, etc.

For the saturday evening wedding, I would buy a sequined tank (blouse) to wear underneathe and then wear some cute dressy/stappy sandals....Dress it up with an elegant clutch and some chandelier earrings...you will look like a million $ trust me!!!!

Then for the sunday wedding, wear a more casual shirt underneath and more casual sandals...

I ditto the Estelle's suggestion. I'm a plus size and I have also been successfuly from time to time with Lane Bryant, Avenue and Lord & Taylor's womens department.

I got an outfit at Estelles just a few weeks ago. It has black pants slit up the knee (wide leg, kinda like palazzo pants) and it comes with a white tanktop and 3/4 sleeve jacket with kind of a pattern on it... very cute! :) less than $100 too.

I HATE dresses too! The only time I've worn them in the last 10 years is when I was in a wedding and when i went to one (because I was told I had to)... I don't even wear skirts :) BLAH
