FH just called me at work and said a letter came saying we need to contact some company that is auditing them and they need to verify what we have paid them. The letter (from my understanding) came directly from the Fox Hollow, but the people we have to contact are located in Garden City. Did anyone else get this letter? What is it? FH was reading it to me and I was like ummmm no idea what you just said to me!!
I would call Fox Hollow first to make sure it is legit!

Ill try calling them on my lunch break I think! I just don't really know what it is Im asking about. I guess I'll say its about the audit. I just dont know much about these terms and don't want to sound stupid.
I agree... call them first. I'm a Fox Hollow bride too but i didnt get anything (yet)

Sounds like a standard external audit letter. Did it come from a CPA firm in Garden City ?
Should be no big deal to reply to it.
I get them all the time at work, refering to vendors I deal with.
It does sound like a standard audit. From what I remember from my Finance days, clients are randomly selected to verify records, so many other brides may not get the letter.

A friend of mine was scammed by a company who claimed to be auditing the company she works for. The letter came on company letterhead and everything...she gave them some information and they stole her identity...DO NOT respond! Call the RH!

I would call Fox Hollow and check with the BBB with the name on the letter head.
I got that letter from the Fox Hollow after I booked with them. I think it's just to make sure their books are right. I just had my wedding their on 5/27/07 so I'm sure you'll be fine. Just send it back to the auditing company.

I think the IRS is actually located in Garden City next to nassau community college, so if the address is from Lindburgh blvd, or their contact info says that, then you know it's legit. It's a sunday so chances are if you call no one will be there so you can hear who picks up lol hth

yea, the IRS is there.
I would still speak to the Fox Hollow to see if they are being audited. My cousin responded to something like that and someone tried to use the info against her and stuff.
