Sorta WR-which is more dangerous (tanning question)?
I thought self-tanners would be less dangerous then tanning beds, but FH and my dad said they are dangerous too because they dye your skin. However I am pretty fair and have had some questionable moles removed already. My MOH's wedding is 2 months away and my wedding is in Aug, I want to have a nice tan by MOH's wedding and maintain it for mine (FH tans w/ out trying and I will look 10x paler standing next to him). I thought I would do both the self-tanner and some tanning bed, but FH and my dad say I am better off just w/ the tanning bed. I thought I was doing the right thing.

tanning beds are extremely detrimental to skin. stay away from them if you can! the rays are directly on your skin...very dangerous!
go for the self tanner. i haven't heard anything negative about those.
tanning beds cause cancer, enough said.

Not to scare you, but tanning beds are extremely dangerous one session is equal to an entire day out in the sun(even more)

You are exposed to UV with tanning beds. You are not with self tanners.

Ok, not to sound like a big dummy...how come self tanners are dangerous? I went online and tried to find anything on dangers of self tanners and could not find anything. I thought they were the way to go...besides the noxious odor.

The fume from it can be dangerous to you. Remember it is chemical we are talking about.

'nuff said. chemical sensitivities stink! Last thing I need is a migraine...or to cause someone else a migraine.

... I went to a wedding bride had someone spary tan her it looke d very nice and natural but beware i would def. not go to a tanning salon perhaps a makeup artist.
