I've received a ridiculous amount of emails from vendors soliciting their services... in some ways this is good as its got me thinking about every aspect (will help me organize).
But how do you discern the ones who email you vs the ones who reply to your request for info via FM?
Yes, am reading the vendor reviews - and am taking notes... but just wondering how everyone is sorting thru the emails really.

I just delete all of the e-mails. There are just way too many! I am going to do all of my research by reading vendor reviews and asking LIW brides questions.

I normally don't FM them... I'll find their email address of of their website and contact them with a subject line that I'll recongnize when they reply. Everything else I delete. It's just too much... At least the phone calls seemed to have slowed down... (FINALLY!!!)

could be because your'e in 2011 but i still think they would be contacting you. sometimes i notice it comes in spurts...also when i first signed up for LIW, it was A lot, now not really any.
In answer to the question...I chose my vendors basically from reading reviews on here by doing a search and specifically doing a search for the vendor name under bride's review. So, in the end, I wouldnt really pay attention to the emails of phone calls and just look up their info once I narrowed down who I wanted to meet with. As far as responses to FM, personally I would only post on the vendors board if it was a question I couldnt find anywhere else but in gneral, I didnt post there looking for vendors because like I said I ended up basing who i met with on the reviews.
