SOS - Morning Brides

SOS - Morning Brides

Do you ever freak that people won't be into partying because your ceremony/reception is during the day? I thought I was past this but an insensitive relative phoned to say he never heard of anyone getting married so early (my ceremony is at 10:00am.) Help!

Don't worry. I've been to plenty of weddings during the day and they were all lots of fun! People love to party any time of the day. Plus you get to continue the party into the night if you want to!

One of my best friends got married during the day and we had a blast! The only problem was we were all liquored up and having fun but it was 6 when it ended and we had no where to continue the fun!!!

BTW: Considering how drunk we were, that was definately for the best

That wasn't very kind... I'm sorry

I've been to a few day weddings. They were just as much fun as any other kind!

a friend got married at 1130 and everyone had a great time. to me, the old bad thing to an early ceremony is the early wake up call

Mine is at 11:00am. No one has been upset about it and anyone who would say something like that is just what you said, insensitive. And obviouly has not been to many weddings. Day wedding happen all the time. Perhaps less in NY, but that is a big thing in Cal.

I was worried people wouldn't party at mine, but I think they will. I know I will :)

My FH is the one worried about it. I told him not too. We booked limos which was good so now the bridal party can drink and i told him besides ourselves they are the only others ones that need to have a good time. I keep telling him it will be fine, our eparty was during the day and lots of people weere dancing and having a good time

Morning weddings are great. I could not do it because I would be at least 6 hours late

If you have a crowd that like to party, then they will party! Don't worry you and your guests will have a great time.

I am not a morning bride but I went to wedding at 11AM yesterday. No problems with the party: the dance floor was so full I was constantly bumping into people! We had a lot of fun so don't worry!!!
