SOS ! Need DJ

I am new to this board and in desperate need of a DJ for this July! We have met will a few of the highly recommended, but they just didn't click with FH and I. We know what kind of music we want and we know our fam and friends will have no problem getting their groove on, so over the top and in your face audience participation is not necessary! Plus, we want someone who will LISTEN to us rather then do all the talking and that is not too pricey! With that all said, any help would be greatly appreciated!

We are using Mark from Energy Entertainment. After meeting him casually at the Swan Club while in there taking care of business, we met him at their office. After speaking to me, he called me to say he would personally do my wedding if we booked because he had already met me and knew that I was a shyer person and that me and my FH were not into the whole center of attention, make a big deal cause here we are kind of wedding...more of a simple, elegant acknowledge we're here and move on kind of thing....he is really all about catering to your specific needs. I don't know for sure if they'll have an opening this close to July 7 (ours is July 9th), but it's worth a try. They are located in Plainview. Another thing worth mentioning is that the day we were to sign our contract was the day after the BIG snowstorm so he came to our house with the contracts since the office was closed.

We are using GQ Productions in Elmont > Anthony.. They have done all our family parties and EVERYONE is always on the dancefloor.. FM me if you want the info..

we're using Steve from Then Til Now. Give him a call... he's exactly what you're looking for (we had the same criteria). He's very nice and very good... and very reasonable. Good luck!

I am using Long Island Sound entertainment, they are awesome, I have been to two events with them and their prices are very reasonable, their packages start at $1000

yes, i have to say when i was pricing a DJ for my e-party which i ended up not doing for other reasons--vinny was the best price by a lot!

We used In the Mixx, and we loved them. Our guests danced all night, and they did listen to what I wanted. They are great, if you would like fm me for more info.
