Is there a big difference between getting just speakers vs speakers AND a subwoofer?
And what in the world is a concert series speaker/subwoofer??
Our wedding will be small (~150 ppl). Do we need this upgrade in stereo?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't need anything to make it louder than 'normal.' Recently at a wedding, we had to BEG the DJ to turn down the music b/c A-we were going deaf in our corner and B-we literally had to YELL at the person next to us in order to speak!

I completely agree!! More people complain that the music is too loud rather than not loud enough!!

You don't need it. I have a picture in my head of my ears bleeding. Usually DJs are plenty loud!

If your DJ has good speakers, they will not need extra subs.... most systems have subs already!
the only time my family business uses extra is for outdoor parties
