If a bm backs out what happens to her dress? Is the bride responsible for the remaining balance?
ETA turns out she paid in full for the dress. Just amazing some people

Way long story short. She is a friend of hmm let's see 14 yrs. Always the kind that felt she had to compete w me on things I can not compete with, she feels we are not close three months before the wedding.

Re: So....
So sorry to hear that. My FSIL backed out of my wedding. Thankfully, the day before we ordered the dress.

Re: So....
If BM backs out and its her decision to back out of the wedding then she is the one that pays for the dress.

Re: So....update
If she backs out she should have to pay for the dress. If you kick her out its your responsibility. A 'friend' of mine kicked me out of the wedding and I have to say it makes me smilewhen I think that her dresses were already ordered and she's stuck with my dress. My dresses had not been ordered so she got a credit for the deposit she left on my BM dress. Sorry if I sound mean but she was so nasty to me for too long!
