After losing over 50 lbs on weight watchers, my weight loss has stalled and i would still like to keep losing weight. Being that i've done everything my ww leader suggested, i think my body is just used to weight watchers. I've decided to incorporate south beach into weight watchers. I am following the south beach diet, however i am pointing everything i eat so i know that i'm not over eating. Hopefully this works cause i am tired of getting discouraged. Is anyone else doing south beach or has anyone else done south beach who can give me some pointers??? TIA

Re: South Beach Diet
Your body hit a Plateau. Are you exercising as much as you should be? For example- if you are burning 200 calories, up it to 300. Those small changes work wonders. Also, weight training helps as well. I think WW is an excellent diet that teaches people how to eat and proportionize. I would stick with that and change your workout routine.

I have been changing my workout routine quite often. I even have a personal trainer who is stumped and suggested this to me for at least two weeks just to shock my body a bit. Truth is i haven't lost a pound since my surgery in september and i havent come off of weight watchers at all.

Re: South Beach Diet
south beach is awesome..if you follow it ... you will see results!! also, do you drink? if you do, you should cut that completely out for the first two weeks of phase one.

Re: South Beach Diet
Very very rarely....a drink or so every six to eight weeks. I usually opt to be the designated driver cause i hate wasting calories on alcohol. I do intend on following it 100%. I've followed weight watchers 100%, i just really think my body is sick of it (ive been on it for almost 2 years straight). I can deal without the alcohol. I went food shopping today and bought a ton of stuff on the list so i have variety.
