South Beach hotels - The National

Anyone been to The National Hotel? Is it nice?

If not, any other really nice hotels there??

The Loews is beautiful and has beautiful grounds but is a little pricey. I stayed at the hotel a few doors down, the Shelbourne. It gave us really good rates and a beautiful view right on the beach.

we stayed at the national for a wedding. great hotel! the rooms are on the smaller side but very clean and updated. the pool area was great and walking distance to a shopping area.

I agree, rooms are little smaller but very nice! Short walk to beach and shopping. The pool is open all night too and I never saw anyone else in it after dark :)

there was just a show on the WE channel i think, where a couple had a destination wedding at the National. It looked really pretty. Im sure it will be aired again
