South Beach in September

Me and the girls are thinking about going to South Beach for a long weekend in Sept. I know its hurricane season - should I reconsider?

Any suggestions for beach front hotels?

If you go on weatherchannel.com you can look up
South Beach and see the normal and average temperatures and percipitation for September. I love South Beach, I got engaged there!!!!!! You'll have a blast!

I love south beach!!! We stayed at the Blue Moon Hotel, Very nice, reasonably priced and its one block from the beach. Check out their website. Blue Moon

The Breakwater Hotel and The Cleavlender are awesome!!!!!!They are right on Ocean Drive in the middle of all the action. I think the Colony Hotel and Starlight Hotel are also on Ocean Drive but i don't know too much about them. The Marriot is nice but all the way on one side of Ocean Drive, not really in the action. If you want something a little less expensive, stay on Collins which is the street right behind Ocean Drive and a very short walk. The Royal Hotel is cute and The Shelly Hotel is cute too. Loews hotel is amazing I stayed there this past December it was just beautiful not on the main strip though. Its a block away but its definately beachfront.

I was wondering if you decided on South Beach for your bachelorette party?
My FH decided that he and his buds are going to Vegas, which is fine with me. However, I would like to also go away for a weekend. my problem is that I feel badly asking people to spend more money than they already are for my wedding.

Any suggestions???

About how much would a weekend in South Beach cost???

Def GO !! I went to U of Miami and Sept is an AWESOME time to go ! - Expect a major downpour for like 15 min every day - but that's it - it's a GREAT TIME !!

I stayed at the Breakwater hotel and it was the perfect location, also I've heard of I think it's called Whitehall - it's very contemporary - all white interior, check out online, Sept. should be fine in Miami, I wouldn't worry about it.
