Does anyone know what the weather is?? We would likely be on our honeymoon from October 5-13 and we are looking at Capri and the Amazlfi Coast (or anywhere in the south for that matter)..
We would love to be lazy on a beach somewhere but everything we've read says Italy's temperature is in the 70's in October. What do you think?

Re: South Italy in October?
My parents actually went to Sicily and southern Italy this past October and loved it! They were able to go in the Meditereann Sea a few times while they were there so it was def. beach weather.

We went to the Amalfi Coast for our honeymoon.. we were there the last week of September to the first week of October. The weather was very warm during the day and at night it got cooler (very light jacket). It's also the off season, so there aren't huge crowds everywhere. It's a great time to go there.

Soo helpful!! Did you book the Amalfi Coast through a travel agent or online through a travel website?
Thank you again FH and I have our hearts set on there.

I went mid-October a few years ago. The daytime was warm and sunny and definitely beachy, but the nighttime and early morning was a little bit cooler (you needed a light jacket)

Yep it is pretty warm still in Oct. My family lives in Sicily and they still go swimming till Nov.
I would look online and also euroflyusa.com flys directly into Naples from JFK (nonstop)which is the closest airport to Capri. I been to both Capri and Ischia and I think that Ischia is alot nicer to stay on. Capri is more touristy while Ischia you truly do get the feel of true Italy. When I went to Capri we stayed in Sorrento which is amazing! It is easy to get back and forth from mainland Italy to the island so you dont have to stay on the island.
Good Luck and FM if you have any questions!

My FH goes all of the time and in October it may be like 70ish but not necessarily beach weather. Check online for an Almanac.
