FH and I really want a waterfront wedding....we loved thatched cottage but are still on the hunt....are captain bill's, snapper inn, or lands end super pricey for an october or april wedding!??

I have heard Lands End is very pricey but have not priced it myself. The Snapper Inn is small, but I did hear reasonably priced.
Check out VYC. If you do a Friday or Sunday, they definitely are reasonable for the amount of food you get, and the gorgeous setting/location.

Did you look into the riviera in massapequa...very pretty and very cozy...and on the water. The prices are very reasonable as well. My brother got married there in August 2009 and it was beautiful

I am quite biased but definatly check out Chateau La Mer... Had my wedding there last month and everything was AMAZING!!!

I love the Snapper Inn! We were looking into it for a rehearsal dinner but decided against it because it was more than my fil wanted to pay. If I had known about this place before we booked our reception hall(which I do love!) I may have considered this for our wedding. I personally do not think it is that pricey compared to other places.

We LOVED Captain Bills!! Thought their prices were extremely reasonable compared to other places.

I used to work there years ago-
They have the option of you arriving by BOAT to your cocktail hour- how's that for an enterance!!

i second Chateau! I've been to a wedding there and its beautiful! they even rode into the reception on a boat!
