Has anyone ever been to a wedding at the Southampton Inn? We just signed the contract for 10/31/04 - it was perfect, and the staff is amazingly friendly & helpful, but I'm curious what others think...

Re: Southampton Inn
Are you from the Southampton area? The town of Southampton is so quaint.
Are your guests staying there?
There are so many great restuarants, le Chef, Barristers, Buckleys, Paul's pizza, Public House and more...

Re: Southampton Inn
I didn't think that anyone on this board had ever been out this far East - I grew up in Southampton! I went to a wedding at the Southampton Inn years ago and it was wonderful - really good food. It is such a pretty place!

Re: Southampton Inn
Good to know - thanks!
I grew up in Great Neck, but we always had a summer house in East Hampton, and now my mom lives out there, so I've spent so much time in the hamptons... any suggestions for good, inexpensive restaurants for the rehearsal dinner?

Re: Southampton Inn
depends how fancy you want to get.
Publick House, only a couple minutes away from the Inn or there is Belle's East - REALLY good food, really pretty restaurant - could be kinda expensive. LeChef - mmmm, yummy. Right down the street from Southampton Inn Ill Cappucino (Sag Harbor), good italian food. Dockers (East Quogue) - right on the water, really pretty.
I'll probably think of more...

Re: Southampton Inn
Nothing fancy... we're going with a VERY informal, casual feel to the whole thing...
