FH is digging out the car. He might just work from home tomorrow rather than waste itme commuting. What do you think the LIRR will be like?

Do you think? This si the first winter taking LIRR. i remeber in last year's snow storm trying to take the commuter rail home from philly took about 8 hours and that was 3 days after the storm...Does LIRR usually pick up well after a blizzard?

What time do you leave in the morning... actually what time do you wake up???? I am hoping that my job is closed or at least delayed, but I don't see a reason for it to be. I can call the snow emergency line tomorrow morning when I wake uo to find out!

I have to be at work at 6:30am tomorrow but maybe they will close stonybrook if i call and they say if you dont need to come in on the number i wont be. so its up in the air i might just call out if they say the roads are still bad.

The roads by us are fine and as long as Metro North is running i have no excuse - and really I dont want to waste one of my own days just to sit home again if I can make it in somehow

they said the LIRR today was only 10-20 mins behind schedule... so it should probably be ok tomorrow (unless the drifts go crazy and cover the tracks?)

boosh and i will be working tomorrow
i have the option of working from home, but boosh does not, so i'd feel bad if she had to trek out while i stayed home. The buses and trains will be running.
Plus, people would have to email me files I am working on and that would take too much time. And, I KNOW that being home would be too much temptation not to do work

That's really sweet, Don! I don't know what D's doing tomorrow ywt, but I know I'm a BIG distraction, and since he'll be on the comuter all ay no LIW or anything else for me!

i shower the night before...wake up about 4:50. Leave at about 5:15 AM!
I asked for these hours...i travel to Queens and cannot stand rush hour traffic!!!!

I have to get up at 5:40 in the morning than i have to be at stonybrook college at 6:30 i rather get their early tomorrow if i have too this weather suxs and i hope nobody shows up tomorrow and the college is like a ghosttown and they send us home.
