Can anyone reccomend a spa in LI. Preferably Nassau. I know about EastWind, but that's kind of far.
My cousin wants to get a gift certificate for his fiance for christmas. They live in PA, but come to NY often and he said he'll treat me too, so I can go with her!
But, I don't really know any other than EastWind...
TIA!

Re: Spa reccomendations
Check out Spafinder.com. I just got a gift certificate for Christmas and there were tons of choices, including the place where I'm getting my hair and makeup done for the wedding.

Red Door is my favorite too, but I've also heard really good things about Sandlewood Day Spa.

I like Georgette Klinger in Manhasset but they may be closing down so I would check first to be sure.

I knew I could count on you, girls! Thanks for the suggestions, I think I'll check out Red Door.
I went to Georgette Klinger and thought it was a bit too pretentious. I guess I'm not a spa girl though. Getting a mani/pedi is about as much as I pamper myself.

Check out The Village Spa . I got the capuccino treatments which included a wrap, scrub, massage... ugh it was great! My sister got the chocolate treatments. They've got a good selection of different things. Check them out

Re: Spa reccomendations
I went to Rain Day Spa in Woodbury about 3 years ago and it was REALLY nice.
It was a gift and I thought it was outlandishly expensive. However, I don't ever treat myself to these things, so it could be perfectly reasonable!
