Spa recommendation?

Spa recommendation?

I would have written that as a plural, but then it looks like spaz.

I know there's a site, spafinder.com, which I'll use, but thought I'd post here to see if anyone can recommend a good spa that they've been to and trust. I'd like to treat my BP to an afternoon spa treatment the day before the wedding (after our thank you brunch that same day, if we do all this then...it's Thanksgiving weekend so we can't really meet up on Wed. or Thurs. due to the holiday). Any recommendations?

Joseph Christophers in Long Beach is a wonderful spa. They use all Aveda products. Everyone there is great. We went there for my bachelorette get together.

We're using T. Carlton's in Saint James the day before the wedding. If you have a party of 5 or more, they give you a separate room. They have different packages or you can create your own. We're just doing manis and pedis. I'm also going to serve bagels, coffee and juice. (I'm not planning a separate brunch.)

I got them from spa finder. I checked them out and I liked them. My mother also knows of the salon and hadn't heard anything bad.

Here's there web site in case you want to check it out.

I recommend Maximus it's the closest feeling to a NYC spa. I've been there several times and was never dissapointed.

I would love to do this for my bridal party. Im curious if these places will 'cut you a deal' if you bring in a large party. I have a large bridal party, I dont want to spend $1000, and I dont want to bring them to a spa and say 'you can have a manicure only'

Anyone know any good places that are reasonable??

The basic manicure and pedicure were we're going is $30. (T.Carlton's). I thought that was pretty good for a spa.

They have a package for $110/pp (and the host is free). I am already treating for hair and make-up so I didn't want to go this far at the spa-
Hostess- She will receive a 1 hour Super Rejuvenator Facial, Stress Buster Massage and Signature Manicure and Pedicure.
This package includes your choice of:
Quick Fix Facial and Signature Pedicure (1 1/2) hours)
Stress Buster Massage and Signature Manicure and Pedicure (2 hours)
Sea Spa Manicure and Pedicure ( 2 1/2 hours)
1/2 hour Marine Pumice with essential body polish and Signature Pedicure (1 1/2 hours)
1 hour Super Rejuvenator Facial and Signature Manicure ( 1 1/2 hours)
1 hour Euro Swedish massage and Quick Manicure (1 1/2 hours)

How many women do you have? You can always ask the different places and then make your decision (if you want to do it).

Thanks for posting that package. I will be bringing 9 girls, plus myself. I wonder if that $110 includes the tip for all of the workers that attend to you, b.c that could be more $$

Yes, the price for the package includes the gratuity. (The mani/pedi price does not.)
