Spa Review with question at the end

So i went to the spa today originally planning on getting one of those cellulite reducing wraps and a massage....

WELL WELL WELL

spa receptionist lady convinces me (because i am a MORON) to get this other thing done where they wrap each leg and then your stomach in this velcro wrap like thing and it applies alternating pressure to your body. SUPPOSIDLY it works on your lympathic system to rid you of water or something...idk....

it was TORTURE!!! It hurt sooooooooooo effing bad!!!! omg!!!!! It was like being surrounded by those shiatzu massagers and having one press on your bladder and ovaries and legs.....hooooolllly craaaaaaaaaapppppp never again!!!!!

The massage was mediocre bc i was still suffering from the first treatment.

I do NOT reccomend this!!!!

On that note....one of my patients was telling me that before her wedding she went to the spa every week and got some kind of wrap that really DID make her lose inches (of course it is water weight, not fat)...has anyone ever done that?? where did you go?? did you like???

Sorry you had a bad experience at the spa I have never done any spa treatments for 'losing' inches but have seen them advertised. Some peope swear by them for a quick fix. You probably aren't allowed to drink a glass of water afterwards or you will puff right back up j/k

I saw something on E! or one of those entertainment channels that celebrities do those body wraps before big events.
They basically dip ace huge ace bandages in some kind of chemical type mixture, then wrap your body up with the bandages. Then they put plastic bags around you and you basically sweat out crap and the bags catch it lol it costs a gazillion dollars but thats b.c celebrities are basically the ones who do that

but i'm sure theres other types of wraps and things for us normal people to do lol but i hear they do work!!

so either thats what youre talking about or I just rambled on for no reason other than boredom hah

I'm sorry that you had a bad time at the spa - can't think of what it's called but I have heard of that type of treatment you're talking about.

Now you make me want to have a hot rock massage- oooh now those are good if they are done right!
