Yup - I did it for my wedding. You go in and a person sprays you. You get to pick the tone, etc. It's very precise and, IMO, very good. It's also, of course, very expensive. But for the 2 times you'll do it (because you will absolutely have to do a trial) it's worth it.

If you mind me asking, how much is it and where can you go for it? Your skin looks great! I need something b/c my dress is also strapless and I have tan lines from the summer that will not go away with regular tanning.
I also want to add that you looked beautiful! Your veil is very pretty!

Re: Spa Tan
I used Glow Skin Spa in the city - it's on 60th between Madison and Park. It's $65 per session but you get 20% off as a first time customer. They have a package of 3 that is regularly $150 but you can apply the 20% discount to that so it's only $120 which comes out to $40 a tan and you get one extra time (I'm using it for my MOH's wedding in July).
That isn't to bad. I live on the island, so I need to set aside time to make it in the city. Is there any other places you know of that are not in the city?

It did by the end of the night (I had been in and sweating in the dress for about 14 hours at that point) but it rubs off inside so no one sees it that day and honestly, who cares if teh inside of your dress has some stuff on it after that day - you'll never wear it again. It was definitely worth it.

Thanks for the info. I was worried about ruining my dress but you're right, as long as it's all on the inside, it doesn't matter.

I don't personally know of stuff in long island but major (read: higher end) spas would have it. DEFINITELY do a trial though. I did the trial for my first fitting so I could see the color with my dress.

Re: Spa Tan
I want to try that.
I went into one of those spray tanning booths (60 second tan) It was horrible. I came out like a dalmation LOL I'll never do that again. I get very tan in the sun, but cancer runs in my family so Im always looking for alternatives.

Re: Spa Tan
the salon I go to does it, its in Hewlett Elizabeth Drucker skin care salon its 40 bucks for 1/2 body and 75 full body. I havent done it but someone was in there doing it and it looked great, Im seriously thinking of doing this instead of tanning my self.

Re: Spa Tan
I know that maximus salon in westbury offers the package called 'healthy tan' and I think it comes with a complete body exfoliate first. I am dying to try it but haven't decided yet.
