spaghetti fork....

what is it and what do I do w/ it?? I posted this on he HOME board but do any of you know about the HOME BOARD??? thought I would get a better response here....

I bought a TON of gadgets today at the tent sale, you all should go!! its all week
and dont know what to do w/ half of them
Is a spaghetti fork to stir it in the water??? I usually use a big spoon for that

A spaghetti fork - really more like a big spoon with prongs that point upward from the edges, is used to lift the spaghetti from the water. It holds the pasta without crushing it, lets the water drain, and you can transfer it to the bowl.

I usually dumpt the whole pot into a strainer
but I guess I could use the fork to get the spaghetti from the pot to the strainer

I love my spagetti fork...I have 2!! They are great for serving!

i love mine too, so much easier for picking up the spagetti.......
