Span of time between sending out invites...
How far before your wedding day do you send out your invitations, and how many weeks do you give guests to RSVP? Thanks :)

I sent them out 10 weeks in advance and gave guests 6 weeks to RSVP. That gives me 2 weeks after the RSVP date to chase down the non responders. I'm pobably too early in mine but we have a tiny apartment and I just wanted the invites out of the living room!
I'm going to send out the invites about 3 months in advance and give them an RSVP date of 3 weeks before the wedding. I need to finalize my centerpiece count with my florist at the 2 week mark so it'll give me time to hunt the no response people down for some type of answer.
I am sending mine out alittle over 2 months before the wedding (start of April). My RSVP date is I think May 13th. My hotel is making my guests book rooms on or before May 9th so I have no choice.
I sent mine out the 3rd week in Jan and gave them 4 weeks to respond (all due this Friday!) this way I have about five/six weeks to finalize things, this is what the company I ordered the invites from suggested
I'm sending mine out 2 and a 1/2 months in advance so that everyone has plenty of time to make their plans. I'm setting the RSVP date one month prior to the wedding date. So that I have time to give my final count due one week prior. I also heard that you should wait 5 days after the RSVP date passes before someone starts making phone calls, because a lot of the time, people forget, notice at the last minute and send it out almost on the date, etc. That way the phone call doesn't overlap with their late-ish response :o)
